JOAMETTE GIL is a 22-year-old sequential artist from the shores of Miami, later spirited away to Olympia, WA. Her work is being published by IDW (Womanthology) and Dusk Comics (Dusk, Miss Tilney), and she is responsible for the urban science fantasy webcomic Blackbirds. She is also a layout editor, freelance illustrator, and founder of the Olympia Comics Collective.
